Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York in the U.S.A. She is an American actress known for portraying strong but vulnerable character. Linney was raised in a theatre family her father was the playwright, Romulus Linney. She received her degree from Brown University, and then went on to study at Arts Theatre School Moscow.
