American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career in a supporting role in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt the actress was Willa McPherson as reporter. She also played the role of a supporting character in the show that ran for a short time, The Ex List. She played a young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on The NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a number of characters in Family Guy's animated comedy series. Since 2019she has appeared in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her moved to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a while before arriving in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in singing, acting, and photography at 13. When she turned 15, she made the move with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
