Dina Meyer is Dina Meyer is a New York native who was brought up in Forest Hills Queens. She relocated to Dix Hills Long Island just before she finished her junior high. Her brothers include Gregory, her older brother, and Evan. Her career began as an entertainer when she was nine years old and did modeling. Her career in acting began at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was a student of the techniques of Sanford Meisner with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton and Diane Keaton are also among the actors that have undergone similar training. Her first role was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, which required her to move away from Los Angeles. She was cast as the lead lady on Johnny Mnemonic in which she performed almost all her stunts herself, and established her skills as an actor. Her agent for talent also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to get a regular role on Friends.
